Get Ready to Go the Distance
NYRR offers a variety of in-person and virtual training options, including long runs and workouts specifically tailored to the TCS New York City Marathon course.
Train virtually from anywhere in the world: NYRR Coaching Lab by Runcoach is a personalized training app that provides you with a customized training plan, a dedicated coach for one-on-one guidance, and advice from NYRR coaches for insider training tips. You can join from anywhere in the world and train on your own time, supported by a community of runners all working toward the same goal.
Train in person with coached group workouts in NYC: NYRR Group Training offers morning and evening in-person coached group workouts in parks in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens for runners of all levels and abilities. The workouts offer coaching, camaraderie, and the inspiration that comes from running with others and feature coached long runs, tempo runs, and speed sessions.
Race with NYRR at a variety of distances: Register for races taking place from now into the fall, with more scheduled to open soon. Racing at any distance can help you prepare for TCS New York City Marathon race day by letting you practice picking up your bib, dressing for conditions, lining up in corrals, pacing yourself, and crossing the finish line feeling strong.
The SHAPE + Health Women's Half Marathon (April 30), the TCS New York City Marathon Training Series 12M (August 19) and 18M (September 30), the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile (September 17), and the NYRR Staten Island Half (October 8) are great races for marathoners-in-training. You can approach these races as long training runs, complete with mile markers, fueling and hydration stations, and plenty of company. Sign up now!
Run for Charity
You can add meaning to your marathon experience by running with one of 500+ Official Charity Partners including NYRR Team for Kids, which supports NYRR's free running-based fitness programs in schools and communities across the United States.
Book Your Trip
Start planning your travel and accommodation, working with our partners. Keep in mind that the TCS New York City Marathon Expo Presented by New Balance will take place November 2–4 and you must pick up your race number at the expo. Stay tuned for details about the Expo. In addition, if you wish to check a bag at the finish for post-race pickup, you’ll need to drop it off before race day; stay tuned for more details.

You can register now for the Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K on Saturday, November 4, and your family and friends can sign up, too.
