Gear up for the TCS New York City Marathon on November 5 by joining the TCS New York City Marathon Training Series, a two-race series that will prepare you to take on 26.2 miles. Designed to support your training plan, the series kicks off with this 12-miler on August 19 in Central Park—11 weeks before race weekend. The second event in the series, an 18-miler, will take place in Central Park on September 30.

Pace Team
Members of the NYRR Pace Team will be on hand to guide participants toward specific goal times over the 12 miles. Pace Team members will lead groups at a variety of paces between 7:26 per mile and 12:35 per mile.
If you choose to run with a pace group, you can look for members of the NYRR Pace Team in the start corrals wearing their blue-and-white striped NYRR Pace Team singlets, and each Team member will carry signs that correspond with their respective finish times and paces.
