What started as a single race in New York in 2009, RBC Race for the Kids has grown into a series of 25+ family fun races that take place around the world. More than 415,000 participants have raised over $100 million for youth charities across the globe. To support the mission of MSK Kids, please consider making a donation on this page. Registration for this event is FREE and open to participants ages 2 to 11 of all abilities that are new to running and physical activity, for non-competitive short dashes. Every finisher will receive a New Balance T-shirt. Please note that souvenirs are subject to availability.

Rising New York Road Runners events are designed to be fun, inclusive, and an opportunity for our youth to see what they are capable of. Registration for all Rising New York Road Runners events is completely free and made possible by the generosity of our community.
The chart below is a guide to the stages available. Use the chart to determine the appropriate stage for your child. If you need help determining your child's stage, contact our Runner Services team.

Stage 1 participants should report to the staging area (starts separated by age group) 15 minutes before the start of their run. Please note that Stage 1 dashes start on a rolling schedule; refer to the estimated start times listed below.
