About Front Runners New York and This Year's Race Beneficiary
Front Runners New York is New York City’s premier LGBT running and multisport club. Founded in 1979, the club has grown to over 700 members, representing one of the largest LGBT athletic clubs in the world.

Each year, Front Runners New York makes a donation to an LGBT-related nonprofit organization. This year’s race beneficiary, Sylvia's Place, is the starting point for New York City’s LGBTQI youth in crisis. Integrating case management with mental health services while stressing the unique strengths and potential of each youth, MCCNY Homeless Youth Services has developed a proven method for serving LGBTQI youth in crisis.
