Celebrate disability inclusion at the 20th annual Achilles Hope & Possibility® 4M Presented by TD Bank on Sunday, June 26. By racing, you help support Achilles International's mission to break down barriers to the start line for athletes with disabilities and empower athletes to cross the finish line. The race leads into July's Disability Pride Month and the anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • This race is a 9+1 program qualifier.

Race Number Pickup

 

Numbers (which include your timing tag) may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues) on the following dates: 

  • Saturday, June 18, 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 
  • Monday, June 20, 10:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. 
  • Tuesday, June 21, 10:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. 
  • Wednesday, June 22, 10:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. 
  • Thursday, June 23, 10:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. 
  • Friday, June 24, 10:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. 
  • Saturday, June 25, 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

 Runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the RUNCENTER to avoid race day lines. 

At number pickup, you will also receive the souvenir for this race – a short sleeve New Balance tech tee.

Please register for a pickup time in advance. You can now reserve your pickup time through the dashboard of your NYRR account. 

On race day, number pickup will be available from 6:45 a.m. –8:15 a.m. at Race-Day Central, which will be located at Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park. If you are planning to pick up your materials on race day, please arrive at least 90 minutes prior to the start of the race.

Please note: All runners must be able to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 when they register. Read our COVID-19 Vaccine Policy page for more information.

Show your race confirmation email or the QR code from your NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Proxy bib pickup is available for this race, so a friend or family member can pick up your race materials for you. The person will need the QR code for your NYRR account, along with a form of photo identification that corresponds to your NYRR account.

Race Day


Bag Check 

 

Bag check will be available at Race-Day Central located near Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park beginning at 6:45 a.m.

Face Coverings

 

It is recommended for all runners to wear a face covering while in the start corral and in the post-finish area. Runners will not be required to wear a face covering on the course.

The Course

The race will start on East Drive near East 68th Street heading north on East Drive. Runners will make a left on the 102nd Street Cross Drive and then another left onto West Drive heading south. The race will finish on West Drive near West 69th Street.

Results and Awards

 

Live, unofficial results will be available in the NYRR Racing App and at liveresults.nyrr.org during the event.

After the conclusion of the event, official results will be posted on results.nyrr.org.

Achilles International and New York Road Runners will present awards on site to the top three finishers in each gender (men, women, and non-binary) in the Open Division and the top finisher in each gender (men, women, and non-binary) in the following categories: Handcycle, Pushrim, Ambulatory AWD, Lower Limb Deficiency, Mobility Impaired, and Visually Impaired. There will be no age group awards for this event.

Cancellation Policy

 

If NYRR cancels an offering due to an increase of local COVID-19 cases or on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, participants will be informed as soon as possible, including communication of participant resolution options. Events will not be rescheduled.
