Hit the streets for the Virtual Race to Deliver 5K To Benefit God’s Love We Deliver Powered by Strava, any place you wish and any time between November 16 and November 22. Join the race to help raise awareness and funds for those in need!

This year’s Race to Deliver—the 27th running of the annual event—is more important than ever. Since March, God’s Love We Deliver has added 3,200 new clients and is now cooking and delivering more than 10,000 medically tailored meals each weekday to people living with severe illness—a 25% increase. For more than 35 years, God’s Love We Deliver has supported our New York community so that no one has to fight the dual crises of being sick and hungry.

All registrants will be emailed a printable, personalized bib to wear for their virtual race. Follow God’s Love We Deliver on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and use #RaceToDeliver and #NYRRVolvoVirtualRacing in your social posts to share your progress and help our neighbors in need.

You can also sign up for the Virtual Race to Deliver 5K to Benefit God's Love We Deliver and work toward completing your 2020 NYRR Year-End 5K PR Series. Finish the year strong with three virtual 5K races and you'll be rewarded with some hardware.

NYRR Racing App

We are excited to announce our new virtual racing premium experience, the NYRR Racing app. NYRR Racing will track your virtual race via GPS technology and display where you are on the Race to Deliver course. You can also race your fellow virtual runners in real time and have friends and family track your progress. Once you finish your race, you’ll be prompted to upload the run to your Strava profile to officially complete the virtual race via the Strava app. During registration, select the Premium race type to get access to this unique virtual racing experience. NYRR Virtual 6 Program

While general entry is free, you can also purchase entry for this race to begin or to continue your journey to earning guaranteed, non-complimentary entry to the 2021 NYRR Brooklyn Half as part of the NYRR Virtual 6 program. Read more about the NYRR Virtual 6 program.

TCS New York City Marathon 9+1 Program

NYRR's 9+1 program offers guaranteed, non-complimentary entry to the TCS New York City Marathon. You can complete the program in 2020 by registering for and completing NYRR in-person and virtual 9+1 qualifying races, selecting 9+1 qualifier credit as a canceled race resolution option, and ensuring that your NYRR membership is active.

This virtual race is one of five designated virtual races that is a 9+1 program qualifier. Additionally, the +1 volunteer portion of our program has been waived in 2020 due to limited volunteer opportunities. If you complete your 9+1 program in 2020, you will have the opportunity to select 2021, 2022, or 2023 guaranteed non-complimentary entry during the selection window in 2021. You may not be guaranteed your preferred year due to potential limitations to future field sizes.
