2020 Year-End 5K PR Series

Do something amazing this fall. Take on the 2020 Year-End 5K PR Series and aim to achieve your own personal best, whether your goal is to run a faster 5K, make a habit out of cross-training, or improve your running overall. Run anywhere in the world and join a supportive virtual racing community as everyone works to complete three 5K (3.1-mile) races to earn some cool new hardware.

Run at least three out of the five NYRR Volvo Virtual Racing Powered by Strava 5Ks in the last four months of 2020 and earn a finisher medal shipped right to your door. You will also be invited to special 5K PR Series programming events to help you prepare mentally and physically.

Here's how to take part in the series:

• Register on this page for the Year-End 5K PR Series.
• Register for at least three of the five virtual 5K races listed below. You must register for each virtual race on its individual race registration page. These virtual races will continue to open for registration through the early fall.
• Complete your 5K anywhere, anytime during the race window. Learn how to participate and upload your race results. When you finish all three of your 5K races, that medal is yours! All medals will be shipped after the conclusion of the 2020 Year-End 5K PR Series.
• Please note: The 5K PR Series is not itself a virtual race, but a challenge to complete multiple virtual races. If you have completed at least three of the five Series races, you can register on this page to receive your 5K PR Series medal; registration will close on January 3, 2021.

Please note: You can register for General Entry (free), or for Race Credits if you are also working towards your Virtual 6 Program and/or your 9+1 qualifier program; completing a race at either tier will count toward your three Year-End 5K PR Series races.
