Listening to Podcasts on the Run

No matter where we are on our running journey, we can all use some extra motivation on a run. Sometimes we find that motivation by running with a friend, but for the days we can't meet up with others, it is great to turn to our virtual friends, or podcasts.

For a new runner, listening to a podcast is a fun way to learn more about the history of sport, current issues, and athletes of all levels and backgrounds who have interesting stories to share. In learning more about other runners, we can feel connected to the broader running community. In particular, it is inspiring to hear about other athletes’ highs and lows in sport and find comfort in knowing others have also faced challenges and learned how to overcome and persevere. It’s also fun to listen to all of the positivity a running routine can bring to our lives.

If you’re looking for some motivation from fellow runners, check out these fun and inspiring running-related podcasts. This is not an exhaustive list, but it will help get you started as you discover the world of running interviews.

Enjoy!
