Cancellation
Entrants (except as otherwise noted below) who cancel their entry for the 2024 RBC Brooklyn Half by following these instructions will have guaranteed non-complimentary entry to the 2025 RBC Brooklyn Half.
All 2024 entry fees are non-refundable. Once you have cancelled, you cannot be reinstated into the 2024 RBC Brooklyn Half. If you cancel your entry in 2024, you are not automatically placed in the following year's race; you will still need to claim that entry for the 2025 race.
In order to claim your guaranteed entry, you must register and pay the 2025 processing and entry fees during the application window (dates to be announced). Guaranteed entries not submitted during this time period are forfeited.
Please note: Runners who earned guaranteed entry to the 2024 race because they canceled in 2023 cannot cancel a second time (in 2024) and become eligible for guaranteed entry in 2025.
Cancellation Instructions
- Online: Go to your NYRR account, logging in with your email address and password. Go to your dashboard and then the Registered Events section to view the status of your half-marathon registration and follow the process to cancel your 2024 entry. The deadline to cancel online will be 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, May 17.
- In person: Cancellations will be accepted in person at the RBC Brooklyn Half Pre-Party (dates to be announced).
International Tour Operator Entrants
If you applied through an International Tour Operator and wish to cancel, please contact your tour operator directly. Withdrawn entrants will not receive guaranteed entry to the 2025 RBC Brooklyn Half or subsequent editions of the Brooklyn Half.
