Motivos para ser voluntario en Popular® Brooklyn Half

The 2019 Popular® Brooklyn Half is sold out, but you can still be part of an extraordinary day and experience everything it has to offer by volunteering. Here are eight facts about volunteering that we hope will persuade you to sign up for May 18.

1. You’ll Earn an Entry to the 2020 Popular® Brooklyn Half

All volunteers who complete their race-day role will receive non-complimentary entry to next year's race. If you missed out on getting a spot in 2019, this is how you secure your entry to this one-of-a-kind race.

2.You’ll Be a Part of the Country's Largest Half-Marathon

The Popular® Brooklyn Half is the largest half marathon in the country. Last year 25,378 runners crossed the finish line on the iconic Coney Island boardwalk. Whether you are helping set up water stations along the course, collecting discarded racing gear to be donated to charity, or making sure runners get to the start on time, you’ll make this amazing race possible!

But when you volunteer at a race like the Popular® Brooklyn Half, you get to meet—and spend the day with—people who share your interests and your passion for the sport, and who care about giving back. You may well end up making new friends!
