Donate Your Gently Used Sneakers

To further support our sustainability efforts and to keep unused shoes out of landfills, NYRR is hosting a sneaker collection at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub, and asking the community to bring their gently used sneakers for donation.

We’re working with Sneaker Impact, a sustainable sneaker disposal service with the mission to educate everyone on the many benefits of recycling their gently used sneakers.

Where: Donations will be accepted at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub.

When: Tuesday, September 3–Tuesday, October 1 (during hours of operation).

Sneaker Impact works with global merchants to revive and resell sneakers in their communities, providing affordable footwear in places where it's not otherwise available. The gently used sneakers will be offered at a fraction of their value to create small businesses in developing countries.
