Steph Twell has represented Great Britain at two Olympic Games and three World Championships, and will be making her United Airlines NYC Half debut. She has two European Cross Country titles to her name, as well as a European Championship bronze medal and Commonwealth Games bronze medal. She finished once on the podium previously in New York, taking third place at the 2014 NYRR Dash to the Finish Line 5K.

Twell is now coached by Geoff Wightman, the father of 2018 New Balance 5th Avenue Mile champion Jake Wightman. Last fall, she set the Scottish marathon record in Frankfurt, running 2:26:40 and breaking Liz McColgan’s mark that stood for 22 years.
