Geert Schipper Netherlands

Geert Schipper is a two-time Paralympian in paratriathlon, having represented the Netherlands at both the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. He won a silver medal in Rio and finished fourth in Tokyo.

Schipper began competing in paratriathlon in 2013, and since then has also taken up wheelchair racing and paracycling. Schipper suffered a spinal-cord injury in a flying accident in 2004. He is the founder of Sportisleven, an organization that puts together sports clinics and adventure trips for people with a disability. He is the father of three daughters.
