Evan Correll
Evan Corell has finished in the top four at the last two editions of the United Airlines NYC Half and was fourth at the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon. The University of Illinois junior represented Team USA last November at the Parapan American Games in Santiago, Chile, where he won gold in the 5,000 meters and bronze in both the 100 and 400 meters. Additionally last year, he won the first NCAA 100-meter wheelchair national title at the Drake Relays.
Corell was born with caudal regression syndrome, a condition which impairs the development of the lower body, and grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was a nine-time high school state champion.
