New York, NY (February 3, 2015) – The press conference for the upcoming NYRR Millrose Games will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12 at the Park Central Hotel in midtown Manhattan. The nationally-televised NYRR Millrose Games will be held Saturday, February 14 at The Armory New Balance Track & Field Center featuring many of the United State’s premier professional track & field performers competing alongside the top college and high school athletes.

WHO:  Athletes who will be available for interviews and their NYRR Millrose Games event in parenthesis include: Olympic and World Champion Aston Eaton (60 hurdles and long jump); World Championships silver medalist Brianne Theisen-Eaton (60 hurdles); American Record holder 1500m, 2-time World Champion Bernard Lagat  (men’s NYRR Wanamaker Mile); 3k World Junior Champion Mary Cain (women’s NYRR Wanamaker Mile); World Championships bronze and silver medalist in 1500m Matthew Centrowitz (men’s NYRR Wanamaker Mile); 2013 World Champion 110 hurdles David Oliver  (60 hurdles); Olympic and World Champion 400m Sanya Richards-Ross (400m); Olympic and World Champion Pole Vault Jenn Suhr (pole vault); Armory Track Invitational 1-Mile and 2-Mile champion Cam Levins (5,000m); World Championships bronze medalist 1500m  Shannon Rowbury (women’s NYRR Wanamaker Mile); and participants in the girls’ and boys’ NYRR Fastest Kid on the Block.

About the NYRR Millrose Games

With a storied history that spans more than a century, the NYRR Millrose Games is one of track and field’s most prestigious and enduring annual events. A New York City sports staple, the meet moved to New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory in Washington Heights in 2012 after having called Madison Square Garden home from 1914 to 2011. The Games—established by employees of Wanamaker’s Department Store—feature track and field’s most prolific male and female stars as well as collegiate, high school, club and youth competitors. More than 200 athletes share the distinction of being both Millrose and Olympic champions.
