Qué debe saber el día de la carrera de la New Balance Bronx 10 Mile

Race Date: Sunday, September 29

Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

Runners, are you ready to boogie down at the #NBBronx10M on September 29? Then get familiar with these race-day logistics, so you don’t have to sweat it out before you start your race.

Get Your Bib Early

Runners are strongly advised to pick up their bibs at the NYRR RUNCENTER (320 West 57th Street in Manhattan) prior to race day. Remaining RUNCENTER hours this week are:

  • Saturday, September 28, 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

However, race-day pickup will be available at Race-Day Central at River Avenue and East 161st Street from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.

Please be sure to allow yourself enough time to get from Race-Day Central to the start. Please note that number pickup and bag check are located 0.4 miles (a 5- to 10-minute walk) from the start.

Arrive Early

We strongly recommend using public transportation. Check mta.info/weekender for the latest updates, follow @NYCTSUBWAY on Twitter and register for text alerts.

Plan your transportation based on what you need to do before entering your corral.

If you need to pick up your number AND/OR you’re checking a bag: Plan to arrive at Race-Day Central by 6:30 a.m. Take the 4 or D train to 161 Street-Yankee Stadium. Your checked bag must be the clear plastic bag with the bib tag affixed.

If you’ve got your number AND you’re not checking a bag: Take the 4 or D to 161 Street-Yankee Stadium. Plan to arrive by 7:15 a.m. and proceed to the start.

If you drive, parking is available at the following locations in the Bronx; payment is via card only.

*NYRR neither controls nor operates these parking lots and garages, and is not responsible for setting rates, refund policies, rules, and/or procedures.

If you take a taxi or ride-sharing service, use Gate 4 at Yankee Stadium as your drop-off location to avoid road closures.

Celebrate Your Finish

The race finishes on East 161st Street. There, you will receive a medal and a Runner Recovery Bag Presented by Hospital for Special Surgery, which includes Snyder’s pretzels, an apple, a Honey Stinger protein bar, Gatorade, and Poland Spring® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water.

Runners are invited to stop by the HSS Runner Recovery Zone to stretch out with help from one of Hospital for Special Surgery's expert physical therapists.

NYRR Members and myNB Rewards Gold Members can get their medals engraved—for free—at the NYRR RUNCENTER during the following times.

  • Sunday, September 29, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Monday, September 30, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

*Please note that NYRR are only able to offer engraving only for participants in the 2019 New Balance Bronx 10 Mile.
