Post-race meal? Italian sausage and spaghetti.

Cold-weather or warm-weather running?
The hotter the better. Or as I call it, poor man’s altitude training.

Treadmills: yay or nay?
Treadmills are against my religion.

Most exotic place you’ve run? Tokyo for the Tokyo Marathon.

Race-day inspiration quote?
If you are not training, somebody is. And if you are racing that one person who has been training, you will lose every time.

Toughest race course, in your opinion? NYRR Team Championships in the heat of the summer.
