NYRR Queens 10K 2019: Qué debe saber el día de la carrera
The 2019 NYRR Queens 10K is here, and it’s going to be an amazing event! Familiarize yourself with these race-day logistics to ensure a smooth start to your 6.2 miles in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Know Your Wave
Your NYRR Queens 10K details email includes your wave assignment, and your assignment is also printed on your bib. Plan your race morning based on whether you’re in Wave 1 (corrals AA-F) or Wave 2 (corrals G-L).
Wave 1 start time: 7:45 a.m.
Wave 2 start time: 8:15 a.m.
Pick Up Your Bib
We encourage you to pick up your number before race day. Pickup is available at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the NB Run Hub.
On race day, pickup will be at Race-Day Central, located at David Dinkins Circle at the end of the wooden platform from the 7 train leading toward the Pool of Industry in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Plan Your Transportation
We strongly encourage you to take public transportation to the NYRR Queens 10K. Use MTA Trip Planner and follow the MTA’s Weekender schedule.
Limited parking will be available at Citi Field, with access to Lots E, F, and Southfield at Gates 3, 16, and 17 from 6:00 to 7:15 a.m. The cost is $25 for small passenger vehicles and $50 for larger passenger vehicles such as 15-passenger vans. Pre-paid parking passes are available at the NYRR RUNCENTER.

***The park roads will be closed at 7:00 a.m. in preparation for the race. You will be able to access Lots E and F via Gate 3 onRoosevelt Avenue and Southfield via Gates 16 and 17.***
Arrive on Time
If you have your bib and are not checking a bag, arrive 30-45 minutes before your start time.
If you need to pick up your bib and/or check a bag, arrive 45-60 minutes before your start time.
Medal Engraving
NYRR members and myNB Rewards Gold members: Join us at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the NB Run Hub after the NYRR Queens 10K for complimentary finisher medal engraving for NYRR Queens 10K finisher medals.
- Sunday, June 16, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Monday, June 17, 12:00–7:00 p.m.
Please have your NYRR member number (available in your NYRR account) or download the NB App and show your Gold status at the time of engraving. You can send a proxy to have your medal engraved; they’ll just need your NYRR member number. Please note that all engraving is done on site—no drop-offs.
