ADVISORY: Global Running Day World Record Attempt to be Held in New York City

WHAT:  The Global Running Day Challenge – a Guinness World Record attempt for “Most People in a Treadmill Relay” – will feature more than 250 participants who run one mile under a 9:41/minute pace. The world-record mark is set at 250 people, with the event expecting to last approximately 33 hours.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 6 – Wednesday, June 7

START TIME: Tuesday, June 6 at 8 a.m.
MEDIA OPEN HOUSE: Wednesday, June 7 from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
