TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON RACE DIRECTOR, PARKS AND DOT COMMISSIONERS, AND ADDITIONAL CITY OFFICIALS TO PAINT BLUE LINE FOR THE TCS NEW YORK CITY MARATHON FINISH LINE
New York, October 29, 2014— The ceremonial painting of the TCS New York City Marathon blue line -- which traces the 26.2-mile course through all five boroughs and ends at the iconic finish line -- will take place on Wednesday, October 29, from 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the TCS New York City Marathon Finish Line in Central Park (West 67th Street and Central Park West behind Tavern on the Green) in Manhattan.
Among those who are expected to join New York Road Runners President & CEO and TCS New York City Marathon Race Director Mary Wittenberg are Parks & Recreation Commissioner Mitchell Silver, DOT Commissioner Polly Trottenberg, Mayor's Office of Citywide Events Executive Director Cristin Burtis, Central Park Conservancy President Doug Blonsky, and Tata Consultancy Services CEO and Managing Director Natarajan Chandrasekaran.
