Runner crossing the finish line at the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile.

Are you ready to boogie down at the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile on September 18? Get familiar with these race-day logistics, so you don't have to sweat it out before you start your race.

Race Date: Sunday, September 18

Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

Start location: Grand Concourse south of East 165th Street. (map)

Finish Location: East 161st Street and River Avenue. (map)

Race-Day Bib Pickup

Race-day pickup will be available from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central, located at River Avenue near East 161st Street. This is several blocks away from the start area and it is strongly recommended that runners picking up their bibs on race day arrive early.

Race-Day Transportation

We strongly encourage participants and their families to take public transportation (the D and 4 train) to and from the event. Check MTA Planned Services Changes for updates, follow @NYCT Subway on Twitter and register for text alerts.

If you need to pick up your number AND/OR you're checking a bag: Plan to arrive at Race-Day Central by 6:30 a.m. Take the 4 or D train to 161 Street-Yankee Stadium. Your checked bag must be the clear plastic bag with the bib tag affixed that you'll find at Race-Day Central where you pick up your bib.

If you've got your number AND you're not checking a bag: Take the D train to 167 Street, two blocks from the race start. Plan to arrive by 7:15 a.m. and proceed to the start area at Grand Concourse just south of 165th Street.

Race-Day Travel by Car and Parking

For those taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing service, please use Gate 4 at Yankee Stadium as your drop-off location to avoid road closures.

For runners who plan to drive to the event, parking will be available at Quik Park on 71 E 153rd Street, Bronx, NY 10452 (map)

Celebrate Your Finish

After crossing the finish line, all runners will receive their 2022 New Balance Bronx Finisher medal and pre-bagged recovery amenities, which will include Flow Alkaline Spring Water, Gatorade Thirst Quencher, a New York State apple, and Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels.

Runners are invited to stop by the Runner Recovery Zone where experts from our partners at Hospital for Special Surgery will be on-site to help with your post-race recovery needs. Foam rollers and stretching mats provided!
