ING New York City Marathon Long Training Run #2

Preparing for a fall marathon is a seasonal ritual for some; for others, it’s a first-time challenge. On Saturday, August 1, thousands of runners grouped up according to pace to complete up to 20 miles at the ING New York City Marathon Long Training Run #2. Participants enjoyed camaraderie, mid-run drinks and energy gels, post-race refreshments, and the satisfaction of completing a long, hard run. The next step: the 18-mile ING New York City Marathon Tune-Up on Sunday, September 27.
