Central Park Conservancy Run for Central Park (4M) / Kids' Races
Saturday, July 17 / 4M • 9:00 a.m., Kids Races • 10:00 a.m. / Central Park, New York / S, Q, C, + (M/W) [Key]

This four-mile run/walk is for runners of all ages and fitness levels, and is presented in partnership with the Central Park Conservancy, the non-profit organization that manages and cares for Central Park. NYRR and CPC are joining forces to make this the greenest race of 2010. All the awards, including for the kids' races, will be earth-friendly, and CPC will plant flowers throughout the Park in honor of each race winner. Thus the race will have a lasting, healthy effect on the environment.

Heat Advisory
Warm, humid weather is expected Saturday in NYC. Please use common sense while running, respect your limits, and don’t hesitate to seek help from our staff and volunteers if needed.

Race Scoring

This is a scored race that counts toward the nine races NYRR members as of January 2010 need to be eligible for guaranteed entry to the ING New York City Marathon 2011.
This race is timed using the ChronoTrack d-tag timing system. The timing device will be attached to your race number. You must remove the d-tag from your number and attach it to your shoe prior to the race. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE D-TAG IS ATTACHED CORRECTLY. The d-tag is disposable; it will not be collected after the race. All participants in this race must wear the d-tag in order to have their times recorded.
