Who can participate?
The race is open to women only. Participants must be at least 12 years of age.
How do I register?
Registration is now closed.
Time Limit
The races will have a time limit of four hours. Walkers are welcome in the half-marathon as long as they finish within the time allotted.

Please note that there is no race day registration and number pickup. All material must be picked up at the More Magazine | Fitness Magazine Health + Wellness Expo on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24.

Awards
To honor the most competitive half-marathoners, the top three finishers of the race will receive awards. To honor the masters competitors, the top three 40+ finishers will also receive an award.

1st place: $1,000
2nd place: $750
3rd place: $500
1st place 40 +: $250
*If you qualify for two prizes, you will receive the higher amount, not both.

Course Etiquette
• Please stay to your left in the recreation lane, and pay
particular attention to this after the lead runners have
passed you on their second lap.
• If a faster participant calls out “Coming through,”
“Excuse me,” or the like, please move to your left.
• Please do not walk in groups of three or more abreast.
• When slowing or stopping to drink or eat, to rest, to
use a phone or camera, or for any other reason,
please move to the far left and watch out for people
behind you.
• Please don’t stand in front of a fluid-station table.
• When discarding a cup, please toss it gently down to your left.

Baggage Facilities
Free baggage facilities will be provided as a convenience. If you are planning to use this baggage service, bring an inexpensive bag and leave your valuables at home. New York Road Runners is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Lost and Found
The Lost and Found is located in the volunteer tent on race day. Items can also be turned-in or claimed at NYRR's front desk on the next business day following the race.
Rules of Competition
All NYRR races are organized and directed under USA Track & Field rules and regulations. Entrants must also comply with City of New York, Parks & Recreation and NYRR rules. Failure to do so may result in offenders being disqualified and possibly banned from NYRR events, including the ING New York City Marathon. [Click here for rules.]
