Post-Race Activities
Stick around after the race to take advantage of great discounts from Coney Island merchants and these fun activities:
- Kids' Races: Kids' Races will be held inside KeySpan Park (weather permitting). First 300 to register between ages 2-12. Races to be held on the warning track beginning at 10:45 a.m. and continuing to 11:45 a.m. Applications will be accepted via fax at 917.677.8841 or in person at NYRR from Friday, May 15, through Tuesday, May 26, at 8:00 p.m., and in-person after that. Please note that race (bibs) numbers for the Kids' Races will be issued on-site race morning. [Printable Application]
- Beach Party and Post Race Festival: Takes place on the beach adjacent to the finish line. Post Race Festival includes DJs, circus performers, and a lot more.

Start: On Center Drive in Prospect Park (enter park at Prospect Park Southwest and W16th St. - see park map here.) [Course Map]
Course: Turn left onto West Drive South, then left onto Wellhouse Drive, north on East Drive, returning to West Drive; one more complete loop of Prospect Park before exiting West Drive onto Prospect Park Southwest to Park Circle; Ft Hamilton Parkway to North Bound Lane of Ocean Parkway travelling south onto Surf Avenue (East Bound Lane); left turn onto West 2nd entrance ramp onto boardwalk (near handball courts); turn right (west) on boardwalk.
Finish: On boardwalk behind Keyspan Field.
Number Pickup/Registration
Entrants are required to pick up their numbers, scoring chips, and race souvenirs at the Liederkranz Club (6 East 87th Street) on:
• Thursday, May 28, 1:00-7:00 p.m.
• Friday, May 29, 1:00-7:00 p.m.
In Brooklyn, near the start on:
• Saturday, May 30, 6:30-7:30 a.m.
Kids' race numbers will be available on race morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. ONLY in Coney Island.
Please note that the souvenir for the NYRR Half-Marathon Grand Prix Presented by Continental Airlines: Brooklyn will only be available at the start of the race. No shirts will be given out afterwards.
Note: Participants must be at least 12 years old.
Transportation Options
Complete directions to the start and the finish by public transportation and by car. [Directions]
Drivers should consider "Driving the Family to the Finish” in Coney Island where NYRR will provide free transportation to the start (first bus 5:45 a.m., last bus 7:00 a.m.). $10 parking for ALL DAY at KeySpan Park. [Directions]
Time Limit
Participants will be timed up to three hours. After that time, medical facilities and refreshments will not be available. Members who finish after three hours can receive credit toward qualifying for guaranteed entry to the ING New York City Marathon 2010 but will not have a time listed in the race results; e-mail results@nyrr.org to get credit for the race.

Baggage Facilities
Free baggage facilities will be provided as a convenience. If using this baggage
service, bring an inexpensive bag and leave your valuables at home. Baggage opens at 6:30 a.m. on Prospect Park Southwest and W. 16th Street and closes at 7:40 a.m.
Runners can pick up their bags at the post race area of Keyspan Park parking lot. New York
